ashley: senior portraits!

i knew i had a great session to look forward to when ashley's mom contacted me about shooting some senior portraits. i had the pleasure of working with this family back in may at jennie & mike's wedding and i cant even begin to describe their kindness and warm spirits. it was such a joy being around their family so i knew shooting ashley's senior portraits would be alot of fun. ashley's parents have moved out here from ohio and she is finishing up school out there with possible plans to join her family here for college in the fall. they wanted to sneak her photos in some time while she is visiting az for Christmas and it worked out perfectly! i first met ashley's older sister jessica a couple years ago and i was just blown away by how stylish and creative she was. and when i met the other 4 sisters it all made sense they were related. they're all SO stinkin cute! ashley is so sweet and i had a good time getting to know her. i knew she'd bring along some funky outfits and props so i made sure to choose a location accordingly and i am THRILLED with the way it all turned out. we really were able to get a wide variety and i think i chose the perfect model to pair up with these spots ive had my eye on.

a white wall can do wonders for a portrait

oh and it also helps when you've got such a gorgeous model

i could photography ashley all day. she just made it too easy.

i about died when ashley brought out this umbrella..... yes please.

are you thinking anthropologie catalogue? me too.

they brought along some awesome oversized frames and you KNOW im a sucker for frames. and that hat? couldnt have been more perfect.

well ashley i sure hope you decide to come out to asu for school, then i know i always have a model i can count on : )

big thanks to ashley, her mom & sister for being so much fun to work with this morning!
