first 2010 "session"

if you even want to call it a session.

it was more like setting up the camera, posing, and running for dear life into the shot. a little different and alot harder than any other session ive done. i got a tripod for christmas and ive been dying to try it out. and i knew these models that would be perfect for the job  : ) joel is way too good to me, i dont know any other guy that would have put up with this.

this is our dramatic shot and all i have to say is if i could crop myself out of this one i would. but can you even handle how handsome my boyfriend is?

so one of my favorite parts of this "session" was testing the lighting. normally this is a pretty standard procedure but for some reason it was so much more fun for me this time. i wonder whhyyyy ; ) anyway joel would get pretty bored with me running back and forth from the camera but little did he know i was snapping shots like THIS:

but occasionally he'd catch what i was doing and...

...then it was back to being bored.

id say this was my most challenging session yet, but definitely my personal favorite. it was alot harder than i thought and id say im pretty pleased with some of the shots we managed to get. joel and i both decided that a self timer remote would definitely be a good investment if this is something i decide to pursue (which i dont think it is).
