Life. Documented.: dan + alyssa = engaged!

and yet another one of my "we're in love" couples is tying the knot! this past summer dan, alyssa, and i met up for a morning photo session just to get some fun photos of the two. and now, 7 months later, i found myself meeting up with this awesome couple to document their ENGAGEMENT! taking photos of dan & alyssa was just as easy for me as i remember it being in august. they just love eachother a whole lot. i am deeply thrilled to share that i will be photographing their beautiful fall wedding in october! i cherish alyssa's friendship dearly and im just so happy she has found the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with. dan is one lucky guy... but he is also such a kind and welcoming spirit. cant wait to watch these two grow together in their love founded in Christ Jesus. they make for a great couple and i think these photos are proof of that. i will start with a couple of my favorites of course:

what i remember loving about alyssa and dan's last photo shoot was that they were so easy to pose and position and they didnt think twice about how or where i had them placed. or at least they didnt show it if they did. alyssa constantly reminds me while i am shooting that she trusts my creative eye and judgement. love that. even in times when i telling them to lean up against an elevator... like this:
