jessi, quinn, & leah... a friend session.

a couple weeks ago i got a phone call from my good friend jessie (red hair) asking if i would take some photos of her and her friends, leah (blonde hair) and quinn(brown hair), for leahs birthday. of course i answered with an excited YES! ive only known jessie for a short time now but i know she has such a fun and sweet spirit that is just so magnetic. so i knew her friends would only be the same way. and boy was i right! these gals were such fun this morning and they were unbelievable troopers with the rather windy flagstaff weather we've been experiencing the past few days. sitting in the dirt, laying in the grass, standing in moldy leaf piles... you name it, these girls did it. im so grateful when my subjects are willing to do whatever i ask of them. i can be a pretty needy photographer at times :) this friendship is so genuine and fun so it was not difficult at all to capture. it was fun for me to watch them interact and just be with eachother. i think these photos share that as well:

(this first one is my favorite)leah is a talented musician and she brought along her ukulele to mess around with. i so enjoyed her music!this is the "coupon" that jessie had me make up to give to leah on her birthday. what a fun and unique birthday gift! loved it.
