boys, listen up...

well its valentines day  and ive just finished the perfect project for this time of year. im in type 2 this semester and our first project was dealing with typographic hierarchy. we had to choose a set of instructions involving 4-10 steps and design 7 panels that function together as a family. but of course, thats not all. each of the panels had a different form of type hierarchy/set of rules we had to follow. (i will explain as i go) for my project i decided to give very basic instructions on "how to impress a girl"... something i feel could be useful to some young men. ive even offered to print pocket sized copies for a few of my guy friends... who shall remain nameless ;)

panel #1: present instructions using color, varied size & weight of type

panel #2: present instructions using varied size & weight of type

panel #3: present instructions using a visual element, color, & varied size type

panel #4: present instructions using an image, color, & varied size & weight of type

panel #5: present instructions using the SAME size & weight of type but varying proximity/spacing

panel #6: present instructions using SAME weight of type but varied size

panel #7: present instructions using SAME size of type but varied weight
