katey & rick, headshots!

katey and her dad rick needed some new headshots for some acting work they are pursuing. we spent the morning snapping some simple, sharp shots and watching people in line at the mac store to buy their ipads, dont even get me started on those. ridiculous. hopefully some of these shots will help them stand out amongst all the other faces, not that they need any help with that : )








katey & rick were so easy going and fun to work with, their session reminded me of how stress and care free this job really can be at times. not that i dont enjoy ALL of my sessions and clients, but lately ive just found myself so busy with my photography (which is great!) but also stressed with it, so it was nice to have a simple relaxing session like this one to detract from all the craziness. just good people, their faces, and my camera. its the life.
