amanda stepped out of the car with her jeans tucked into her grey boots and i knew right then and there... this family was cute. soon after amanda, i saw 2 year old james get out of the car in his plaid shirt and couldnt even handle his cute shaggy hair. and i was right, these people couldnt be any more adorable! amanda & nate are the coolest parents ever and i couldnt be happier that i got to spend the morning with them taking pictures for their sweet family. little miss maebelle is only 2 months old so i have a feeling she was just along for the ride but mr. james was goin all over the place and i loved it. minus the fact that this meant i was singing (LOUDLY) and playing peek a boo behind my camera for most of the session : ) yes, hiding behind my camera and pulling it away WHILE snapping photos of a smiling 2 year old. im that good. luckily nate & amanda understood this was how we were going to get james to cooperate so they withheld their judgement... or so im hoping.

while james was off playing with some rocks, it was time to sneak in a few of mom & dad.
then they busted out this rather sharp look for james and i was obsessed.
