Life. Documented.: the z family

i had so much fun hanging out with jen, her husband tim, and their 2 great kids josh & alexa. i was so excited when jen asked if id meet up with their family for some photos. of course its that time of year when everyone's looking for family pictures and we were not alone in our photo session at the railroad park in scottsdale. i must have spotted at least 3 other photographers during our hour and a half session. the kids were just mesmerized by everything the park had to offer. trains, the western style brick playground, the carousel... it was all so fun for them. but they had to pose for photos before playtime. this made my job a bit trickier but all the more fun. 5 year old josh is such a good older brother to little alexa. my favorite part of the session was watching these two little munchkins interact. josh is such a goofball and his favorite question all morning was "are you only going to take one more?" over and over again. and alexa has just the sweetest little face and carefully observes each and every detail about her world. jen & tim will certainly have their hands full with these two running around. but what many many fun and memorable years they have ahead of them. this family is so lucky they have eachother and it was a privilege to photograph them.
