this sweet little family of 3 joined me up in flagstaff for a photo session this weekend! i love when clients are willing to make the trek up here, i love flagstaff and all that it offers for photos. jordan and i have been chatting for a while now trying to figure out when and where we'd do their family session and when she suggested they drive up to flag, i just knew we'd get along. jordan and chris met each other in high school and have had their boy jaggar for almost 7 months now. i just love families of 3. i love watching such a unique and irreplaceable connection form between mom, dad, & baby that they will cherish for the rest of their lives. little jaggar was such a perfect model for the majority of the photos. but let me tell you, its tough trying to get the baby's attention, take the photo, and try to not look like a complete idiot in front of mom & dad. i have yet to master that last part, jordan & chris can testify to that. i enjoyed meeting them and getting to know a little bit more about them. they love their little guy so much and it was fun to watch them love on him. we decided to start off at the red door, seemed appropriate for some potential christmas card photos if you ask me : )

and for a little change of scenery we decided to head on over to buffalo park. jaggar was pretty much done with the whole picture taking thing by this point but we did manage to get some good shots in. such as this next favorite of mine.

i think any of these would be a fine choice for the christmas card. and the fridge, and grandmas wallet, and the hall picture frame. ok im done. but seriously, what a beautiful family! jordan & chris (& lil j): thanks for making the drive up so we could get these great shots! you guys have so many happy years together!

Steph!! You always have a most spectacular eye for great photos!!! We had a friend who was starting her business up take our Chirstmas card photos but you KNOW we will be back next year especially since Gigi is turning into such a little girl :)
i love the picture of them walking away at the end with the baby looking back at you. so perfect! what a beautiful family captured in a beautiful way
