amy & anthony: wedding prep

ive been looking forward to the wedding of amy & anthony for a long long time. i was thrilled to have the opportunity to take their engagement photos back in june but even more excited to be a part of their special day in this unique way. its such a lovely thing to be able to attend a wedding as a guest, i really do cherish it. of course photographing weddings is something i equally cherish, its just nice to simply attend and not have to worry about anything. amy & anthony wanted to make sure that i did just that, enjoy the wedding of a lifelong friend and the man of her dreams. but this time around i got a pretty SWEET deal. amy asked if i would come a bit early to casually capture the "behind the scenes" stuff. of course i jumped at the opportunity. watching a bride prepare for one of the biggest days of her life is such a treat, and i couldnt wait to capture this time for amy. i loved capturing all of the emotion that this time right before the wedding brings. i couldnt be happier for amy & anthony and this new adventure they are beginning together. have fun in kauai guys!

glowing mother of the bride

im not sure if this photo was an accident or not but i love it...

Superb post from Amy & Anthony’s wedding!! I am pleased that you shared it with us. Anyways, I am searching for rustic themed wedding DIY crafts for décor. We are going to tie the knot in three months and would be booking one of the best Chicago event venues. Can anyone here please suggest some ideas for décor as well as tips to plan a perfect wedding on the budget?
