i will start with the bridal bouquet. (my favorite floral element of a wedding!!)
amy's sister beth came along to model the bridal gown and did a fabulous job!
i was telling the girls that bridal bouquets are my favorite because of how full and tightly compacted they are. luscious if you will? ps, those things are HEAVYY. this was something i never knew until i started photographing weddings and shooting the bouquets. i cant believe all you brides hold those (sometimes with one hand!) for as long as you do!!

but this was no ordinary bouquet. no no no, not when amy is in charge. she decked out this bouquet with the sweetest touch. look at all that bling on the handle! holla!
beth looked stunning in this simple up-do, especially with this delicate flower tucked inside.
i love this unique boutonniere with the pink and green combination... barely seen in the picture are 2 little diamond studs on the stem wrapping. see what i mean? little details. so fun.
groomsman boutonniere: loved the shade of green, cant you just see it on a black tux?!
flower girl basket! but its a purse packed with flowers. what little girl wouldnt want to carry this down the aisle?
the coolest ring bearer "pillow" ever. thanks to beth again for letting us borrow your own bling : )
this is a small centerpiece for a cocktail table which i think it so creative and simple, two of my favorite adjectives. just a little dressing for the tall tables everyone stands around
the meal table centerpiece! totally classy and simple. too cute.
amy hammered in these iron shepherd hooks along the aisle where she hung these perfectly delicate jars filled with little flowers. it was the perfect way to dress up an aisle without going overboard if you ask me.
and i saved the best detail for last... CUPCAKES! the simple little rose buds on top are such a sweet touch to an already sweet treat. amy truly outdid herself by prepping all of the florals PLUS baking and decorating these delicious cupcakes! she kindly let us each enjoy one once the session had ended.
come on, stinkin cute.
it just wouldn't be right if i didnt include one of the gorgeous headshots i took of amy. she and her sister share those beautiful blue eyes, which this photo perfectly highlights.
im so grateful to have had this wonderful opportunity to expand my experience with detail shots. what amy does is so so important to the look and feel of a wedding and it all definitely deserves to be captured. amy - you're the best at what you do and i had a blast photographing all of your wonderful creations!
